BEIJING BEIJING.
its one week and 1 day alr. this whole week we've been like walking round, sight seeing a lot. not much of studying, but we've just started sch today and its biology lesson now, equivalent to my free time.

i miss sg a lot, but im kinda getting used to beijing. the cold weather is horrible, every night i spend like approx 1 hr going through my clothes, packing and unpacking and folding them, (cause i bought and brought too much that my luggage can no longer contain them anymore) and deciding what to wear the next day. like whether it ll be colder, and how many layers i need etc

also, im down with a cold. so horrible. staying a rather erratic cold weather in a foreign country far from home is bad enuf, with a cold to go along. hmph.
and im practically leading a maid's life. i sweep the floor, because its dirty and i wash a lot of clothes. uh just maintaining my personal hygiene :]
i skipped breakfast in sch ytd morning to eat in the room with ym so that we will have more tim e to use the washinng machine since no hci guys will be using it early in the morning at like 6 plus?-.-
can you believe our desperateness to wash??

ehh. my roommates, or rather, all the bsp scholars have been like damn nice and its fun hanging around with them :D seriously, you ppl make life here much more endurable.

hey ppl. im in beijing now. been here for 3 days but it feels like 3 weeks. zomg.
i have like 40 more days to endure in beijing and another 2 weeks in china. ohman

so far its not exactly very bad. apart from stepping on a coackroache trap, and uhh having a hard bed as well as a stinky washroom and SUPER DUPER HOMESICK, i guess im still fine,
trying very hard not to fall sick here.

i really miss 309 and a lot of stuff in sg! claire bear, chelly, tiny, steph, nic, jong, jelly, tongie and so many many others.
really, if only you guys were here.
but the bsp scholars are really nice HAHA. its fun with them around too.

and i love shopping here though.
and i still cant start my training here. missed a week alr, cant imagine what it ll be like if i still cant start =/
no mood to post more now.
counting down to return to my dearest hometown.

firstly, today is officially the day of my freedom! HAHAH.
exams ended though it truly doesnt feel like it.

now here comes the irony:
before math paper today - ppl were playing unos. and totally acting like its the end of sch.
there was a scurry of discussion abt where we'd be going - movies, ice skating, or gaying in east coast park.

then, aft math paper, when we are finally liberated, the weird thing happens.
math ended at 10am, at 10.30 am, you walk into 309. you see a group of gals sitting on chairs in a circle, doing nothing. and they start coming up with suggestions such as going home to sleep.

and finaly, we reach jec. and we were not very keen on skating so we had a wonderful suggestion of studying! AHHA.

of course that didnt happen. i ended up uh playing cards with jelly and jeong and ended up losing like 30 bucks wth. i have bad luck and skills haha.

a random convo:
rania: i want nuggets pls!
jeong kindly treated me because she was the biggest winner.
jeong: rania, what drink do you want?
rania: huh?! chicken?
jeong: hurry, what drink you want.
rania: OH. sprite pls.
jelly was lauging her head off.
rania: oh i was wondering how come mac improved until they give you diff flavours of chicken to chooose from. like for a second i tht they'd offer you terriyaki chicken or smthing.

today was hilarious. a lot of random bits and pieces that made me treasure and love my frens a lot.
went for the farewell party at night. saw my dear frens whom i expected them to.
took lots random photos which i shall upload tmr.
I MISS SKATING.

YAYEE. firstly, exams are over. well, almost. leaving only chem and paper one.

anyways, one day, during math, when mrs ng was giving us some random qs, rania felt bored. so she was smsing huilin and it went:
rania: tell me something funny. like a joke or funny incident.
huilin: once upon a time, there was a bird named rania. she flew right up to the clouds and bang. she died. the end. T.T
rania looked at the sms, and replied, " thats not funny at all." like seriously -.-

chelly saw it. ^read read^ burst out laughing.
rania stared at her. "its not funny!"
chelly: yes it is!
and she showed jeong.
jeong read. laughed.
passed on to nic and claire.
a moment of silence passed as they read.
then another uproar of laughter.
rania stared at them in horror.
all: its quite funny wat!
............

today was hilarious.
supposed to meet claire in holland v but she didnt know how to go from sch so i suggested her taking bus to my hse before heading together. anyways my hse is on the way so yeah.
rania: take 961 or 174 ok!
claire: yeah when im on the bus i ll call you when to stop!

few mins later phone rang.
claire: hello im on the bus alr!
rania: which bus did u take?
claire: 171
rania: omg get off the bus now.
claire realised and took another bus.
later she called. im on 174 now i just passed kap, where to go ah?
rania: you are suposed to take from ny side!

in the end i took a bus to meet her in kap.
we were both apalled at the no. of ny ppl there so we walked to bukit timah plaza, trying to find somewhere to study but realised there werent anywhere.

we couldnt afford to waste anymore time as it was around 1 alr.
hence, we came to the decision of sharing cab to holland v.

we were both left with no money aft sharing cab and buying a drink.
livia was supposed to meet us, but she smsed and said she was tired gonna slp, and might join us afterwards.
poor claire didnt eat her lunch so she was super hungry.
but we had no money.

so we kept sending smses to livia asking her to bring money and stuff and hurry up come!
but she was sleeping alr.

after a long long time, we gave up.
then, we saw vanessa's sister haha. what a coincidence. and she sat at the table right beside us.

claire decided she couldnt stand the hunger, but my phone was on low bat so claire wanted to dial livia's no. but then, my phone shut off.
desperately, we asked vanessa's sister to call lynette (livia's sister) to get livia's no. HAHA
but livia was still sleeping.

after 15 min, claire suddenly realised something.
she might have stuffed a note somewhere in her wallet as emergency money.
frantically, she rumaged through her wallet, and pulled out all the contents to find her life saver - 10 dollar note.
and so she suffered 3 hours of unnecessary hunger. haha.
